The Williams Family

After an argument led to the removal of her children, Ms. Williams needed legal representation to reunite her family.

Challenge:

The Williams family's children were removed from their mother after they witnessed an argument between her and her boyfriend. The removal was based on concerns for the children's welfare, despite no evidence of harm or neglect towards the children.

Our Solution:

Our education and child welfare law firm stepped in to represent Ms. Williams in juvenile court. We gathered evidence to demonstrate that the children were not at risk and that the incident was isolated. We also worked with Ms. Williams to develop a safety plan and provided character references and testimony from professionals who supported her parenting abilities.

Outcome:

The court acknowledged the lack of evidence for ongoing risk to the children and recognized the steps Ms. Williams had taken to ensure a safe environment. As a result, the court ordered the children to be returned to Ms. Williams' custody, allowing the family to be reunited.
